Events

There are many events held throughout the year in the community.  The proceeds of the events run by the Minesing Community Associate go towards many projects within the community. If you have an event that you would like to get added to our community calendar please e-mail the details. To have your event posted on the Community sign and added to Minesing Moments in the Springwater News please e-mail events@minesing.ca. If you are interested in volunteering to help with community events sign up to join our volunteer database!

Upcoming Events!!! St Peter's Pancake Breakfase - Sunday, March 18th - 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM  To kick off another year of special events at St Peter’s Anglican Church the men are putting on their aprons to  host a Pancake Brunch on Sunday March 18th between 11:00am and 1:00pm.  The community is invited to drop by and enjoy pancakes topped with Fralick’s Maple Syrup and sausage.  The cost is a "Free Will Donation" with proceeds going to St. Peter’s Maintenance Fund. Call George at 705-721-9227 to let him know you are coming or just drop by and hope that they have some left.  Let us know about your upcoming events by e-mailing events@minesing.ca!!

Annual Events Mini-Fest Mini-Fest is our annual winter festival held the second weekend in February each year.  Check out the Mini-Fest page for more details on the event including history of the event and photo galleries of past years. Labour Day Baseball Tournament Held over the Labour Day long weekend every this fun and competitive slo-pitch tournament brings many teams together to compete for bragging rights and prizes.  Check out the Tournament page for details of the tournament and photo galleries of past tournaments. Christmas Tree Lighting  2011 marked our inaugural Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.  Based on the overwhelming response we expect that this will become an annual tradition in the community.
